Wanted to add my review to the myriad of good reviews for this wonderful place! I actually had a bad smoothie before I got there and the staff was sooooo nice and accommodating The toilets are some of the cleanest in Thailand. (I really got up close and personal when I was puking my brains out) While I was on the toilet, one of the cleaners slid a water to me asking if I was okay. The company expressed genuine concern and got me a ride back to my hotel, they told me that I could return at anytime at no cost which I took them up on when I was feeling better. You should definitely do this! I had a great time when I wasn't sick.

This was one of the happiest days of my life. To interact with these amazing creatures is such a blessing.

The sanctuary is very well maintained, and the staff are extremely friendly and nothing short than amazing.

The tour is very informative on how, and why the animals were rescued which helps bring awareness to the cruelty that these majestic animals have been subjected to. It's a bit sad hearing how these passive animals were mistreated, but again without the story being told change wouldn't happen.

The experience interacting with the elephants is amazing and peaceful. I found it very calming being in their presence. The animals are never forced to do anything they do not want to do which is nice to know after hearing what most of them have been through.

After your done interacting with the elephants you can take a shower, and then you are fed a delicious Thai buffet.

This was such a wonderful experience, and I urge anyone who wants to meet an elephant to do so in a facility such as this. Do not endorse the cruelty of elephants by going to places that have the elephants chained up for pictures to be taken, or allow you to ride on them!

I'm still baffled as to why anyone feels the need to ride an elephant. Find something else to post on your social media; preferably something that doesn't involve the cruelty to animals!
